This is a vintage 1953 copy of Games and Game Leadership by Charles E. Smith. Published by Dodd, Mead and Company . This is an ex libris copy from the City of New York library. This is the books 14th printing, January 1953. This book is in fair condition. It has its original dust jacket and a plastic book cover over that dust jacket with remnants of a library identification sticker on the spine. Some of the binding has come loose from the cover. See photos. Otherwise, this book is in excellent condition. I cannot find any marks or writings within. No tears, rips or dog eared pages. It does have remnants of black tape around the edges, both top and bottom of book. This was probably done at the library to minimize tearing of the dustjacket. There are public library stamps on the bottom and top outside pages that have been scribbled out in black marker. See photos. Despite those flaws, it is an excellent book with lots of visuals and examples in its pages, including drawings, charts and graphs, cartoons, musical verses, and plenty of games to keep children occupied!
