Description: This is an original plastic frame/drive Weaver 3 Rail Alco FA that was returned to the factory and got an upgrade with a metal frame and trucks, 2 vertical motors , and full TMCC and sound. The locomotive has been bench tested and runs and the TMCC functions with crew talk, rail sounds , horn and bell . Video sample available on request. The trucks and fuel tank have weathered . During the upgrade , some of the details on the original shell were broken, so I’ve replaced it with an excellent condition PRR Weaver Alco body and included the original windows inserts and horns to be added by the modeler . I’ve also included 4 long Weaver body mounting screws , but these do not attach the old plastic shell to the newer metal frame in the same place as the original (even through the shell is a perfect fit), so probably new mounting holes need to be drilled in the metal frame . The old shells also had more limited from coupler swing and may need to be widened . The steps limit the swing of the trucks and had often been removed on right radius layouts , but I’m leaving them intact for the next owner to decide .
