Description: Really cool signed copy of this anthology of stories by William F. Nolan. Many written notes to HHW (Helen) looking for comments on the stories contained within. Please see my numerous pics. The inscription reads: "To H.H.W Dear Helen in the spirit of Christmas! Best to you and yours for the Holidays! (and I hope you enjoy this collection!) W.F.N. Bill" There is also a note on the titles page that reads:"(All rights to these stories remain with me. Do Not contact Corgi or Gollancz.) Contact me directly at 22720 Cavalier St. Woodland Hills, Calif. 91364" There are numerous notes contained throughout the book written in both WFN's handwriting and then another person's handwriting. The book itself is in poor condition as it looks like this was a copy used to edit by both parties. There are pages missing as this copy was used to edit between the two people as maybe a working copy to edit? Possibly being edited for the US publication of this anthology? That is purely speculation on my part as I cannot find any record that a US version of this anthology was ever published. Regardless this is a fantastic peek into WFN's editing process.
