I used it for many photo shoots and video projects and then still had it as a C cam when I got other gear. It's reliable and efficient and absolutely the choice for if you're starting out. I bought it new for around $1800 or so a few years ago but just want it to go to someone who will use it. (wedding Sony people I'm looking at you, if you're wanting a D or E cam, this is perfect as that's mainly what I used it for)
