Charger Mk IV - Manufactured and first issued Oct 1917+ 4 circular holes each side - long solid retention tab. Charger Mk IV* - Manufactured and first issued Oct 1917 thru 1945 - 3 circular holes each side 1 oval hole into the retention tab. Charger Mk 4 - Manufactured and first issued 1945+ Same as Mk IV* but with new standard Arabic number mark stamp. Charger Mk VI - same as the MkIII design - From NOS occupied Europe boxes (Italy) dated 1945 also for the Korean campaign?
