It has good sharpness at all apertures and nice open bokeh. Zenitar-M f1.7/50mm is an interesting lens with an amazing picture and fixed focal length 50mm. Focusing ring moves smoothly. The minimum focusing distance is 45cm, infinity starts at 15 meters on the scale on the lens. On the aperture scale, you can set the values 1.7, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16. The focusing ring itself rotates approximately 270 degrees. When focusing, the entire lens unit moves. The lens is excellent maximum aperture F1.7that allows you to achieve a very small depth of field. The lens has a blinking (jumping) aperture. It’s very convenient that you can disable it with a special switch and you can set aperture values in manual mode. The lens has been professionally serviced and tested, we have done everything necessary for proper operation, cleaned, lubricated, adjusted (CLA).
