Description: Beautiful mid-century 1953 Zenith A-733 Telechron AM/FM clock radio. Everything about it is original, including all the knobs and tubes. The radio is a teal-grey color with gold and cream accents. This was my father's own radio that he bought new in 1953 or 1954. He had it on a shelf over his tool bench for 40 years and it has been in storage since his passing in 1994. Everything is in perfect working order. See the video in the listing. Being a tube radio, it takes a couple seconds for the tubes to warm up and the radio to start playing. This is normal for a tube radio. All knobs are working and original. The cord is in great condition as well. This radio still includes the sticker on the bottom that displays the tube information and diagram of the inner workings of the radio. VERY RARE. There is a hairline crack on the underside of one side that does not effect the stability of the cabinet.
