Description: Zenith Transoceanic Royal 1000-D. The -D model added long wave coverage. This unit has been recapped and aligned and is in good working order, clean inside and out. The telescoping antenna is straight and intact and the handle has no damage or cracks.Both dial lamps are new and working. Operates with 9 D-cells, a set of which will last for months (batteries not included). The audio from this jewel is clean and rich. The radio measures 10.25 in x 12.625 in x 4.75 in (HWD) and weighs 12 lbs. Bands covered are long wave, AM broadcast, 2-4 MHz, 4-8 MHz, and the 31m, 22m, 19m, 16m and 13m international broadcast bands.
